Spin2Win

The Indiana Fever were looking for a way to engage with new fans and collect data from warm leads. Benchwarmers developed Spin2Win as a fun and unique solution to this challenge.

The Fever sales and community relations staffs were given credit card sized game cards to hand out at events or on the street. The game cards direct fans to the Spin2Win website and provide them with a unique code. Once at the Spin2Win site, fans input a few simple fields, including their email address and their unique code, and they are then taken to the Spin2Win wheel. Fans spin for a chance to win a prize, including Fever tickets, a TV and autographed memorabilia among other prizes. The Fever are able to capture the form data and create a second touchpoint during prize pickup/delivery.

Benchwarmers Marketing used SEO (Search Engine Optimization) to increase the organization’s prominence in online search results. The tennis program has experienced a significant increase in online registration, as a result of the new, mobile-friendly website and its easily navigated program database search.

Start/ReStart   Tennis

The Start/ReStart Tennis program is designed to introduce adults to tennis and re-engage past players in the sport.

Before its partnership with Benchwarmers Marketing, the Start/ReStart Tennis program received only eight percent of its registrations through the organization’s website. Most participant interest was generated by word-of-mouth or because of flyers distributed at local tennis clubs. The organization was looking to increase their website traffic, and that’s just what Benchwarmers Marketing did.

Midwest    Youth    Team    Tennis    site

Midwest Youth Team Tennis provides children ages 5 to 14 years old with an introductory experience to the sport. The six-week sessions help build key tennis skills and understand basic concepts, while having fun and learning about teamwork.

Benchwarmers Marketing was enlisted to replace the organization’s outdated website with one that is user-friendly for consumers and administrators. Benchwarmers Marketing also developed a database generated program search on the website.

Indiana    Fever    MVP    renewal    site

Breaking news: Your season ticket holders are really important. Their support throughout the season brings the energy to another level. Though always seeking to gain new season ticket holders, retention is key to continued growth. Many teams provide incentives during the renewal process, but few spend the necessary time to focus on the user experience of their season ticket holders.

The Indiana Fever wanted to improve their renewal process and turned to us. In previous years, they used a printed renewal guide and mailed it to their Fever MVPs. They now direct them to FeverMVP.com, where we were able to display the benefits of MVP membership with a clean, responsive design. The site also integrates so MVPs can log directly into their Ticketmaster account via the renewal website.

Dynamic    Pricing    Software

The concept of Dynamic Pricing has gained traction over the past few years with a number of sports teams scurrying to implement these programs to maximize revenue. It makes sense, increase pricing for high demand games depending on the quality of the opponent and the day of week. And when you have a basement dweller visit for a weekday game, lower the prices to fill the house.

Though Dynamic Pricing has become more prevalent in sports, the user experience for the fan leaves much to be desired. Clicking game by game on your ticketing platform to compare prices is confusing and time-consuming. We built a Dynamic Pricing module that is both easy to understand and visually stimulating for the user. By combining all games and ticket prices into one database, we were able to provide a product that allows the fan to filter based on their budget and availability. The interactive seat map displays the locations that fall within their search criteria. The intent is to embed this product on your team site to allow for the ability to upsell the fan from single-game tickets to season or group packages.
